OBJECTIVES
The main purpose of the master degree is to implement scientific and clinical knowledge based on optics, laser physics, laser-tissue interaction, as well as its properties with applications in various fields of dentistry. Moreover, the practical and theoretical aspects of the course will emphasize the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of the various therapeutic methods performed conventionally or using a laser.
DESCRIPTION OF THE MASTER DEGREE
The EMDOLA master programme is the result of a scientific collaboration among the teachers of several university centres in the EU. This project has been operational for more than 10 years in Liege, Barcelona, Parma, Rome, Timișoara and Wroklaw.
These universities offer a joint study plan for 2 years. The course is delivered only in English. At the end of the programme, the students obtain two master diplomas: one from the host university and the second one from the European Master’s Degree of Oral Application of Laser.
The programme comprises 889 hours in total (441 hours / first year; 448 hours / second year). Of the total hours, some are dedicated to theoretical courses and the rest will be divided into the following activities: - Workshops
- Lab hours
- Internships
- Teaching activities
- Individual study
The master degree finalises with a master thesis defense, which will take place at the end of the second year. The subjects involve conventional treatments compared to laser-assisted ones in different fields of dentistry: limitations, advantages and disadvantages.
Become part of an international community of passionate students and leading specialists. Through advanced training, hands-on experience, and collaborative research, you will develop the skills needed to shape the future of modern dentistry.
